//The Centre has told the Supreme Court that womenmay not be suitable for command posts in the Army as male troops are not yet prepared to accept women officers. “The composition of rank & file being male, and predominantly drawn from rural background, with prevailing societal norms, the troops are not yet mentally schooled to accept women officers in command,” it said.//
//The Supreme Court said there was resistance when women were being inducted in police force but they are doing extremely well. “A change of mindset is required with changing times. You need to give them opportunity and they will serve to the best of their capabilities,” the bench said.//

//The Madras High Court has raised questions about whether individuals can be restricted from buying more than one house until the Government completes the Awas Yojana, which intends to provide housing for all in urban areas by 2022.//
//“Why don’t the Governments curb individuals from purchasing more than one house/plot till ‘housing for all’ is accomplished. Why can’t the registration charges for the second house that an individual buys be charged twice as much? Why not the government charge individuals twice as much electricity charges, water tax and house tax for the second house?”//
//The bench also observed as to why the authorities could not limit the NRIs from purchasing houses in India, in order to bring down the costs. The judges highlighted the plight of lakhs of people who are living on platforms, roads, slums and river banks without basic amenities and safety. The court observed that Housing morals all could be achieved when restrictions are put on persons who hold more than one housing unit.//

Governmentmay remove Income Tax exemptions within a couple of years... Why..? Because, they have no way to generate revenue to return the money... I beleive that government does not want to accumulate liabilities...
Problem is, this will break the long term savings habit of the Indian population... And it could be disastrous for a 1.25 billion nation, where free education and medicare still in pipeline...
