இந்தியா, அரபு அமீரகம் (UAE) இடையே வர்த்தகம் அமெரிக்க டாலருக்கு பதிலாக இந்த இரு நாடுகளும் 3,500 கோடிகள் வரை தங்களது நாட்டு பணத்தை பயன்படுத்தி கொள்ளலாம்.. இதற்க்கு பெயர் "Currency Swap".

இதை கேட்டவுடன் மோடி பக்தர்கள் அனைவரும்.. "அமெரிக்கா அடிபணிந்தது", "டிரம்ப் அழுகிறார்", "ரூபாய் மதிப்பு கூடும்.. டாலர் வீழ்ச்சி அடையும்", "மோடி டா"னு இன்டர்நெட் முழுவதும் பதிவுகள்.. முடியல..

உண்மையில் இது ஒரு செய்தியே கிடையாது.. மன்மோகன் ஆட்சியிலேயே 23 நாடுகளுடன் நாம் "Currency Swap" வைத்துள்ளோம்.. அதிகபட்சமாக 2013'லேயே ஜப்பான் நாட்டுடன் மட்டும் 35,000 கோடிகள் மதிப்புள்ள வர்த்தகம் நமது பணத்தில் தான் நடக்கிறது..

 2013 News: The government has finalised arrangements with some 23 countries with whom Indian importers and exporters can trade in local currencies, thus eliminating dependence upon third party currency like the US dollar.

Currency Swap with oil exporters - Angola, Algeria, Nigeria, Iran, Iraq, Oman, Qatar, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia and Yemen.

Currency Swap with Non-oil exporters - Japan, Russia, Australia, South Korea besides Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, South Africa and Thailand. Recently, Japan increased (in 2013) the volume from $15 to $50 billion so that trade can flourish between two friendly nations, without involving third currencies.
