வாளிப்பற்ற உடல்காரி

தாலம் வெளியீடு

தோழி தனசக்தியின் கவிதைத் தொகுப்பு, இந்த வாளிப்பற்ற உடல்காரி. முகநூலில் அறிமுகமாகி குடும்ப நண்பரானவர். அவரிடம் இருந்தே கையெழுத்திட்ட பிரதியை தபாலில் பெற்றுக்கொண்டேன். வாளிப்பற்ற உடல்காரி ஒரு மிகச் சிறிய கவிதைத் தொகுப்பு. ரொம்பவும் கடினமான வார்த்தைகள் இல்லாமல் இலகுவான தமிழில் இருந்தது சந்தோஷம். இந்த தொகுப்பில் எந்த கவிதைக்கும் தலைப்பு இல்லை. இது ஒரு வசதி. பல நேரங்களில் தலைப்புக்கும் கீழே உள்ள கவிதைக்கும் சம்பந்தம் கண்டுபிடிப்பதே ஒரு sudoku புதிர் போல் ஆகிவிடுவதுண்டு. தென்றல் போல வாசித்து முடிக்க முடிந்தது.

கவிதைகளில் பியுலா என்ற ஒரு கதாபாத்திரம் அவ்வப்போது வளைய வருகிறது. ‘வாளிப்பான உடல்காரி’ வெளிவந்தபோது தனசக்தி பியுலா என்ற தலைப்பிட்டு பெண் குழந்தைகளின் படங்களை முகநூலில் பகிர்ந்து கொண்டிருந்தார். அத்தனையும் அவ்வளவு அழகான புகைப்படங்கள். இந்த பதிவின் முடிவில் தனசக்தி முகநூலில் பகிர்ந்த பியுலாக்களின் புகைப்படங்கள் சிலவற்றை தந்துள்ளேன். கவிதைகளில் பியுலா வரும்போதெல்லாம் என்னால் அவளை கவிதையுடன் தொடர்புபடுத்திக்கொள்ள முடிந்தது.

Recently, Soorya has started using his school library. First time he bought his favourite Toy Story. We read that in a single day and discussed the story. Second time he got a classic, Beauty and the Beast. We read that too in a single day and also saw the related movies. Now this third time, he got this bigger and intense book, The Invisible Man. I was wondering if the kids would understand the story, or rather, would I be able to properly convey the story to kids. Contrary to my belief, kids were more eager towards science fiction and were much open minded to take in the stories. We read the book for two weeks. We read it aloud; line by line. However, I found it difficult to tell the story to kids line by line. So, after reading the story I had to brief it to the kids in an interesting way. That was real challenge. There were so many questions from kids with regards to science fiction, especially when I had to explain the physics behind optics, transparency, reflection and refraction. All through the story they believed fiction; just that they had to be explained in the language they can understand. I have read H. G. Wells stories long ago but this time was real different experience.

ழ என்ற பாதையில் நடப்பவன்

கவிதை தொகுப்புகளை படிப்பதை விட மிகவும் கடினம் அதை பற்றி எழுதுவது. கவிஞரும் வாசிப்பவரும் ஒரே மனதில் இருந்தாலொழிய கவிதைகள் ஒழுங்காக வாசிப்பவரிடம் போய் சேருவது கடினம். கவிஞர் ஒரு கோணத்தில் எழுதி இருக்க வாசகர் அதை புரிந்து கொள்ளாமலே போகவோ, அல்லது தப்பாகப் புரிந்து கொள்ளவோ வாய்ப்புகள் அதிகம். கவிஞரே அத்தனை கவிதைகளையும் ஒரே மனதில் எழுதுவது இல்லை. அதனால் கவிதைத் தொகுப்புகள் பற்றி எழுதுவது சற்று ரிஸ்க் நிறைந்ததுதான்.

'ழ என்ற பாதையில் நடப்பவன்' என்ற இந்தக் கவிதைத் தொகுப்பு பெரு. விஷ்ணுகுமார் எழுதியது. இந்தத் தொகுப்பு மொத்தம் ஆறு பகுதிகளாகப் பிரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. எழுத எண்ணி மறந்துபோன வரிகள், ஏயம், சிறுநனிப் புள்ளிகள், துவாரங்கள், ட்ரெக்கிங் போகும் கவிதைகள் மற்றும் வயலீனா.
