got down to tirupati... From there we got into a bus to chennai... 110 rupees / ticket... Soorya free... 4 hr journey ahead....

23 km to tirumala... Heavy rain started... Bus stopped as conductor got down for some reason...

our train is now stopping at renigunta station... I recall tamil film named 'renigunta'... May take another 30 min to reach tirupati...

we then took all of our family for refreshments... We all had nannari sharbath and fruit juices... Two kids settled for water spray guns... We packed everything and are now returning home in auto...

dropped sasi, soorya and shri shri mother-in-law the great @ their home and travelling towards my home in auto-rickshaw...

we purchased 2 sets of dress for soorya... Then we had dinner @ 'modern restaurant', one of the oldest restaurant in that area... (what an oxymoron?!!!)

now we have moved to 'kishkintha' ready made shop for babies... Purchasing a dress set for soorya's tonsure ceremony to be held day-after-tomorrow...

i'm surprised... Sasi managed to get a woollen bag, a plastic bag, a plastic box and 2 plastic fans from the jewel shop, for free...

oh my god... Now they r fighting for the small plastic jewel box... And free purses...

they reduced the wastage from 21% to 16% They also reduced the making charges from 200 to 150 rupees... Total cost is Rs. 4800... Operation 'golden ear' is a success...

if the shop ppl are sure that u r going to buy, they will come and ask for a refreshment - tea/coffee/juice/cooldrink... I prefer a saridon...

they have selected a 2.5 gram ear ring... With a small whitish purple stone... Now they are bargaining on the rate... Its a ritual to bargain on rates... Whatever it may be... Paper or aeroplane...
