ஒரு நண்பர்: என்ன இருந்தாலும் தமிழ் தந்த அருட்கொடையைப் பாருங்கள். 'அ'வை முதல் எழுத்தாகக் கொண்ட அண்ணா நமக்குத் தலைவர் - இன்றைக்கு 'க'வை முதல் எழுத்தாகக் கொண்ட கலைஞர் கருணாநிதி நமக்குத் தலைவர்.
நான் குறுக்கிட்டுச் சொன்னேன்: அய்யா! தமிழ் 'க்' என்ற மெய்யெழுத்து தான் நான்! அத்துடன் 'அ' என்ற உயிர் எழுத்து சேர்ந்ததால்தான் 'க' என்ற உயிர்மெய் எழுத்து, என் பெயரில் முதலாக அமைந்தது. அதனால் புரிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்; 'க்' எனும் மெய்யுடன் 'அ' எனும் உயிர் சேர்ந்தே கருணாநிதியாக இயங்குகிறது.

அரசிடம் தரவுகள் (data) தான் இல்லையென்றால், நுணுக்கமான சட்ட ஆலோசனை வழங்கும் ஆட்களுமா இல்லை... அல்லது, அரசு அவைகளை மதிப்பதில்லையா..? (இந்த இடத்தில், Demonetisation வேண்டாம் என்று அறிவுரை செய்த, பாஜக அரசால் anti-national என்று முத்திரை குத்தப்பட்ட முன்னாள் RBI கவர்னர் ரகுராம் நினைவுக்கு வருகிறார்...) கடைசியில் நஷ்டம் என்னவோ அரசுக்கும், நாட்டுக்கும், மக்களுக்கும் தான்... இதோ, இப்பொழுது ஒரு வழக்கில் அரசுக்கு 8000 கோடி ருபாய் நஷ்டம்...
கடந்தகால வரி திருத்தங்களை (Retrospective Tax Amendment) காரணம் காட்டி வரிகள்/பணம் கேட்டு Crain Energyயிடம் இந்திய அரசு 10,250 கோடி ருபாய் கேட்டு தொடர்ந்த வழக்கில், சர்வதேச நடுவர் தீர்ப்பு இந்திய அரசுக்கு எதிராக வந்துள்ளது... இந்த தீர்ப்பால் இந்திய அரசு கிட்டத்தட்ட 8000 கோடி ருபாய் Crainக்கு நஷ்ட ஈடாக வழங்க வேண்டும்... இப்பொழுது நாடு உள்ள பொருளாதார நிலையில் இது மேலும் ஒரு சுமை... கடந்தகால வரிகளை Crain நிறுவனத்திடம் இருந்து வாங்க நினைத்த அரசுக்கு மேலும் ஒரு இழப்பு... இப்படி case போட்டு காசு கேட்பது சரியா, case நிற்குமா என்று யோசித்திருக்க மாட்டார்களா... அல்லது, அரசு அவைகளை காதில் போட்டுக் கொள்ளவில்லையா... மூன்று மாதங்களுக்கு முன் இதே போல் 22,100 கோடி ருபாய் கேட்டு இந்திய அரசு Vodafone நிறுவனத்தின் மீது தொடர்ந்த வழக்கிலும் தோற்றது... (குறிப்பு: இந்த தீர்ப்பை எதிர்த்து மேல் முறையீடு செய்ய இன்றே கடைசி நாள்... ஆனால், அரசு இன்னும் ஒரு முடிவெடுக்காமல் யோசித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது... மேல்முறையீட்டிலும் தோற்றால் அதற்கும் பெரிய இழப்பீடு தர வேண்டி இருக்கும்... ஒழுங்காக யோசிக்கட்டும்...) இது அரசுக்கு கண்டிப்பாக பின்னைடைவு...
இப்படி கடந்த கால வரிகளை கேட்பது "இருதரப்பு முதலீட்டு பாதுகாப்பு ஒப்பந்தத்தின் கீழ் நியாயமாக இருப்பதில் இருந்து மீறுதல் (breach of fair treatment under a bilateral investment protection pact)" என்று இரண்டு வழக்கின் தீர்ப்பிலும் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது... இதனால் வெளிநாட்டு நிறுவனங்கள் இந்தியாவில் முதலீடு செய்வது மேலும் கேள்விக்குறியாகும்... 'Minimum government; Maximum governance', 'Ease of doing business' ஆகியவை எல்லாம் என்ன ஆனது என்று தெரியவில்லை...
அப்புறம், இந்த மாதிரியான செய்திகளைப பற்றி எழுதும் போது முக்கியமாக ஒன்றை சொல்லவேண்டுமே... ஆஆங், "ஜெய்ஹிந்த்... புதிய இந்தியா பிறந்துள்ளது..."
